The Turbo Diesel Blow Off Valve Kit is designed to prevent compressor surge in turbocharged diesel engines. Compressor surge can occur during deceleration, creating pressure that can be detrimental to the turbo system, especially when high boost levels are involved.
This kit includes an electronic BOV controller that manages pressure signals to the blow-off valve (BOV). It detects a 0-5 voltage change from the throttle position sensor, triggering a solenoid to vent excess pressure, safeguarding the turbocharger and enhancing acceleration between gears.
Included in this kit is the latest DigiTech Gen 2.1 Control Module with upgraded firmware for real-time valve response. The solid bronze piston-operated Dump Valve ensures durability, while comprehensive color instructions are provided for optimal installation.

Installation Notes:
For installation, mount the dump valve between the intake manifold and the intercooler. A hole must be drilled in the inlet pipe for the connection. Ensure all connections are sealed properly using appropriate fittings. Professional installation is highly recommended due to the technical nature of the setup.

- Allow for a 0.5-1 inch variance due to manual measurement.
