Operation Guide To Drain Water:
1. Loosen the self-venting drain plug to collect water in a container.
2. Tighten the drain after water removal.
3. Use the primer bulb to fill the filter with fuel.
4. Start the engine and check for leaks.
To Replace the Element:
1. Drain the unit by loosening the drain screw.
2. Remove the filter element.
3. Detach the bowl from the filter element (the bowl is reusable, do not discard unless broken).
4. Clean the O-ring gland and lubricate it with clean oil or grease before reattaching.
5. Securely attach the filter element to the filter head and hand-tighten.
6. Run the engine and verify there are no fuel leaks.
