Billet Aluminum Tensioner Cover Plate for K20 K24 Engine
This tensioner cover plate features a simple o-ring seal embedded in a machined groove at the back. This innovative design streamlines the process of checking and changing the timing chain tensioner, eliminating the messy sealer commonly required.
The OEM stamped steel cover often needs replacement due to bending during removal, making this upgrade a wise choice for maintenance. Regular inspection of the tensioner is crucial, as a failure can result in severe engine damage. The timing chain tensioner maintains proper timing by holding the timing chain in place.
Machined from high-quality 6061 billet aluminum, this cover plate arrives ready to install with all necessary hardware included. To install, simply remove the OEM cover, clean off any sealer, and secure our aluminum tensioner cover plate in its place.
