Note: The gear of this motor and the shaft are installed without any retaining ring or similar fixture, ensuring that the gear firmly fits onto the shaft to prevent accidental dislodgement.
Installation Steps:
- Adjust the sunroof glass to the fully open or closed position.
- Insert the sunroof switch into the motor, operate it to run the motor a few times (both open and close) to synchronize it with the sunroof glass position.
- Mount the motor onto the sunroof.
Sunroof Maintenance:
- Fully open the sunroof.
- Use a clean, soft cloth to gently wipe the dust off the sunroof slide tracks.
- Lubricate the moving parts and transmission pathways of the sunroof.
- Open and close the sunroof a few times, then use a soft cloth to wipe off any excess lubricant.
Important: When using lubricants, avoid those that easily attract or accumulate dust, as this can prevent premature wear of the sliding parts and potential sunroof failures.
